Q: Can a player multi-roster for 2025 Ogden Peaks Classic?
Per UYSA Sanctioned Tournament Rule 935.3, a player may only roster with one team in a tournament.
Q: When I am registering my team, what division should I select? What do Most Competitive ( Gold), Mid-level Competition (Silver), and Least Competitive (Bronze) divisions mean?
Our goal is to provide the best competition for everyone in a bracket, but a specific competitive level is not guaranteed. Because we know the parity within an individual bracket is important to your success and satisfaction with your tournament experience, please give us a general idea of the type of tournament experience you are wanting at Ogden Peaks ~ Most Competitive, Midlevel Competition or Least Competitive. Once you have registered we will send you a detailed survey to let us know more about your team, where you have played and what kind of experience you are hoping to have at our tournament.
Providing specific feedback to our alignment survey helps us determine where you think your team would best fit and will be used in consideration for placement. While we don’t guarantee a certain level of play, we will do our best to create parity within our tournament brackets.
Q: Will I be guaranteed to play in the division I request?
We aim to place teams in the divisions they feel best suit them. In fact, if you write the names of the teams you would like to play for parity and alignment purposes in the comment section of your application, we will do our best to recruit those teams for you to play. In the end, know that the bracket you are assigned is what we feel will work the best for all the teams involved, but we can’t guarantee any specific division request.
Q: Can I make special requests for my team schedule?
Yes. You may add notes to the comments section of your tournament application no later than June 9, 2025 if you have a special request.
If you have teams you would like to play in your division for alignment consideration, please include the team names in the comment section of your tournament application. We will contact the requested opposing teams with an invitation to maximize your tournament experience.
For other special requests, please be specific and reasonable. We want your tournament experience to be positive and will do our best to accommodate your requests. Given the tournament's scope and time constraints, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled, but we will do our best! Late requests submitted after June 9, 2025, will NOT be accepted or considered.
Q: When will I know my team has been accepted to the tournament?
Each participating team must complete registration online, be accepted by the Tournament Registration Director, remit payment (during the online registration process), and check-in with official tournament staff prior to play. When your bracket of play has been created, we will send you an email confirming your acceptance. To complete the process, you will just have to check-in with tournament staff prior to playing.
